Amanda Dixon
Amanda has conducted research on Morlet's Corocodile for 2 years in Belize and was a Big Five feild guide with CC Africa (now And Beyond) at Phinda Nature Reserve in KwaZulu Natal.
Together with Mark, Amanda has consulted as an avifaunal experts on pre and post construction wind farm sites in the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape.
Currently they are conducting an avian research project to identify indicator bird species in habitat trasnformation.
Amanda is also an event coordinator for two festivals and various sporting events. |

Mark Dixon
Mark, a qualified marine biologist, has worked in environmental positions globally as CCAMLR Scientific Observer in the Ross Sea and on a Jaguar Project with Conservation International in the Panatanal.
An avid hiker, Mark has hiked in the USA and Canadian Rockies, the Chilean, Bolivian and Peruvian Andes, Nepalese Himalaya's, New Zealand Alps as well as the Drakensberg, Swartberg and Outeniqua mountain ranges.
An astute naturalist, Mark informs guests with a mixture of scientific information and personal obervations.
